Santa arrives at the Clubhouse every December with his bag of gifts for the Lakevale children, who also enjoy a morning of breakfast, crafts, and songs. |

 Cherry Trees Each spring our community is vibrant with flowering Kwanzan cherry trees, which line our sidewalks. People come from all over to see the vernal buds. |

 The Common Grounds During the Spring and Fall, the Board of Directors selects a Saturday for community clean-up of the common areas. All homeowers are urged to pitch in to help keep Lakevale beautiful. Students can earn service hours for participating in this activity. |

Fourth of July Celebration |
|
The children's bike parade and family games are organized at the lake and pool. The Board of Directors supplies beverages for adults and children, and the snack bar is open at the clubhouse.

Halloween Parade and Party |
|
The children dress up in costume and parade through the streets of Lakevale to the clubhouse, where all enjoy Halloween snacks, crafts and games. The parade begins at the corner of Lindel and Lakevale Ave. The route follows Lindel Ln to Newton and then on to the clubhouse. |

Our luminaries are famous all over the region. The fee is $5, to cover the cost of supplies, and is payable annually with your dues. Participation is optional. Your block captain will bring you candles. Sand can be picked up at the Clubhouse. You are responsible to supply the empty milk cartons. Candles are lit about 5:30 PM on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The entire community is a glow! |
