The "Wizard" is Dead !

The fabled Sterile Grass Carp which had inhabited our lake for so many years died and was found at the edge of the lake.  It weighed 66 pounds and was 54" long.

Summary:
Create 6' border of vegetation to discourage geese and improve water quality.
Add wetlands vegetation to the mouth of the pond to reduce sedimentation.
Harvest Ornamental Koi, Carp, Crappie, Sunfish & Bluegill from pond.
Add 2lb bass to balance fish population.
Dredge shallow end of pond to improve habitat for fish.
